Nursery school

Our children use play and experimentation to gradually discover their physical selves, and at this stage of Nursery School they learn to relate to themselves and to others, communicating
through different languages.

Discovering the world

The world is very different when seen through the eyes of a child. Children in Nursery School discover this world through visits, excursions and trips related to the subjects taught in class.

Instruction in values (Pastoral Care)

The foundations are laid at this stage for their religious awakening based on St. Ignatius’s values of respect, compassion and solidarity, which are taught and conveyed from the first years of schooling.

Personal autonomy

The world is very different when seen through the eyes of a child. Children in Nursery School discover this world through visits, excursions and trips related to the subjects taught in class.

Comprehensive approach

Our approach to education stimulates different ways of learning and activates all our pupil’s capabilities. We use project-based learning, as well as DSM – a proprietary method whereby a third
of the learning process involves textbooks and another third uses worksheets to pave the way for new methodologies.

Pupils as the architects of their own learning process

We prompt pupils to learn through their own personal experiences. An education that focuses on hands, hearts and minds. We encourage our children to discover their abilities and express them,
developing multiple intelligences through creative action and the expression of emotion.

Diversity

We are an inclusive school that responds to each pupil’s needs. We strive daily to ensure each child feels welcome, respected, appreciated and loved.
Our staff members include specialists in therapeutic pedagogy, hearing and language, and school counselling.

Learning English

We favour the early learning of a second language. Our native English teachers spend two hours a week with our pupils as from the age of three.

Psychomotor skills

We stimulate each child’s perceptive abilities through movement and corporal expression. To do so, we have two dedicated facilities that the children attend four times a week.

Library

We have a lending library specifically dedicated to children of this age, where we are assisted by parents.
We encourage children to discover the wonder of books and reading in a setting that is magical, motivating and suited to their world.

Digital classrooms

The pupils have interactive whiteboards in their classrooms. Technology is part of the school landscape and an essential teaching aid.
